Introducing our brand new Floating Electronics Weight Plate Set for the XRAY X4!
Float your electronics off the deck, whilst keeping the weight effect minimal. The set includes a carbon shim which floats it 0.5mm off the chassis from near to the centre of the car, meaning the plate itself has no impact on the symmetrical flex of the chassis.
On top of the plate, we have 13g of brass weight to secure it in place, which is also adjustable. With the thread in the top weight, we've allowed you to remove the bottom weight and use the top weight only, which brings the weight down from 13g to 5g, just to give you some more options. The plate attaches to the often unused antenna mount hole. If you still want to use this antenna mount, you can use an extra long screw through the lower weight, and thread the antenna mount on-top.
The two weights, plate and shim feature coinciding locating pin holes, where we supply a 2mm Pin that goes through all 4 parts to align them perfectly on your chassis. The pin can either be removed or left in after tightening.
The plate itself is 1mm thick and weighs in at 2g. The set coming in at 15g is a with both top weights and only 10g with the one weight, is a great way to benefit from the floating capabilities, without adding too much weight.
Another great feature of the floating system, is you can change chassis or clean your car, and simply remove your RX, Transponder and Fan by undoing one screw! No more annoying double sided tape. Simply tape your electronics to the plate, and remove or install as you desire!
